Remarks
I opt for dy patil akurdi college because the college and campus are very good and they provide us extra curriculum activities. They not only focus on academics but also other activities which help us for our placement and future. Admission criteria for D.Y.Patil college, akurdi is 75+ in PCM and according to merit. We were new to campus for admission but they cooperate with us and guide us through the admission process.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose to BE civil because I want to opt for civil but college was not fixed. So I prefer Dy Patil for their placement and other activities which helps us to mould our career. The faculty is quite good enough, cooperate with us, help us in every situation. All faculties are highly educated. Our college takes time to time prelims and UT even in covid situation our college doesn't skip any exam. Exams are easy when we study.
Internships Opportunities
Don't have much more idea about the company which pay the stipend because I have not applied. But learnvern, career lab provide the stipend after the training session they give the stipend. Many projects are done by our college at the international, national levels.
Placement Experience
D. Y. Patil college of engineering almost gives upto 90%students placement every year. From 3 rd year(5th-6th sem) students become eligible for campus placements. But all subjects should be clear. Many companies visit for placement such as Adobe, Infosys, Paytm, Indian private sector bank, Telmex, many more it company.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees are quite high for regular students or the one who is in the open category. We can apply for many scholarships but there are many criteria. Now we can't say anything about the scholarship names. Yes, we can do the job and can get the stipend.
Campus Life
Campus life is just fabulous. But we are missing due to covid. The name of the annual fest changes every year but in Feb month they are conducted. Book are also easily available in library. Sports campus is good. All year we used to go for sports matches.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facilities are good. They provide us with a hostel room bed, study table and cupboard (wardrobe). In the hostel, the mess is not included. We have to pay mess and hostel fees differently. To register the hostel just have to show the admission confirmed letter and pay the hostel fees in DD. After that, we can pay the fees of mess in cash or online.
