Campus life matters

I applied for this college becouse of its ranking in Haryana. Moreover, the college is situated in NCR so, the location is good to explore. I got ECE in the 2nd round of HSTES and I don't apply for open counseling. In open counseling, you have more chances to get an upgraded branch. So if anyone is interested in YMCA and doesn't get a dream branch so one must apply for open counseling to get the desired branch.

Being a govt. college, you would never face any issue in teacher-student ratios. Faculties are well educated and helpful. Many faculties in university are well qualified like Ph.D., MTech, Gate. Semester exams occurred in 4 and half months. The difficulty level is moderate.

From the 6th semester, students are eligible for campus placements. The percentage of students placed is different for different branches. Generally, the cs-it branch has more %age of placed students. Electronics and the mechanical branch have 70-80%. Highest package - 30 LPA. Average -10-12 LPA.

When I was in the first year, the fees were nearly 88000 per year. From this year, the fees were nearly 96000 per year. University offers many scholarships. One can apply for the TFW(tuition fee waiver) scheme. If they have parental income less than 150000. TFW only pay other charges (except tuition fees). Which would reduce their fees to more than 60%.

Generally, the fest is held in April month every year. Tech fest was organized many times in college. The classrooms are in good condition. Labs are well equipped. Grounds are not so much spacious becouse of campus size. There are many clubs and societies for students to explore and learn skills. universities' own website is handled by ucc(university computer cell). Hostels are provided to first-year students only (for boys). Girls hostel is provided for four years. Hostel meals are amazing. Hostels are provided on first come first base. There are 3 hostel buildings for boys.
