Entrance Preview

My ranked was around 40000 series in AIEEE (All India Engineering Entrance Examination), and i got this college from counselling. Actually i wanted to do my engineering from Pune University, So i selected this college. Actually it's a very good college situated at river side. location of college is very good and infrastructure is awesome. Hostel is just amazing.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

In the first year, easily we can change our department, So we have this opportunity in the first year only because all the book were same in the first year and from second year we should attend classes in our respective department. I've done my engineering from electronic and telecommunication and i didn't get the job in my core field.

Internships Opportunities

No, My college was not provide any internship program. We should made our project by making a group of 2-3 members and then we have to decide our project with the help our teacher and accordingly we have to made it. Basically we made 2 projects, In third year, we made our first project and in fourth year we our second project. My fourth year project were very much popular in college and will get many awards for them.

Placement Experience

2.5

Placement is not that much good as we want. In my department (Electronics and Telecommunication), We were 75 student out of them, only 25 students are got the job in various company's.rest of them have to suffer a lot for searching a job. Lots of small to mid and mid to big level company had come (For Examples: Accenture, Capgemini, Six Sigma, Reliance, e-touch systems, Wipro etc) at that time (year-2011).

College Events

4

We were celebrated lots of event in the college. Every year gathering were organised by our college management and it was a huge event. In this event we had done lots fun like gaming (Football, volleyball, Cricket, Carrom board, etc), dance competition, modeling and last day we are getting prize from our Principal and after that we were going for a delicious food.

Fee Structure And Facilities

In my college fee structure is very much expensive and every year they were increasing it by 2000 to 3000 Rs. When joined the college, fee was 77208 Rs for a year and they were increased it to 84000 in four years. Even hotel are also very much expensive. In first year it was 35000 Rs with extra 5000 Rs deposit. So total we have to pay 40000 Rs for a year only. And they were also increasing it every years.

Campus Life

4.5

Campus life style were very good, Our college campus are not very much large, so we have to bought our necessity from outside. 70% was boys in my college and 30% were girls, but girls ratio is increasing every yearly. Boys are girls very much close to each other and equally we were participating in extracurricular activities. Labs were very good with modern facilities and every year our college are organised robotics event.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Our hostel facilities was really awesome. I'll give ten out of ten rating to for our hostel facilities. but it was very much costly. We have lots of facilities in my hostel like 24-hours net, hot water, room cleaning on daily basis. bathroom was very much good.

Exam Structure

Exam structure of Pune University was very tough. I wanted to clear one more thing that marking of Pune University is very tough. So if you wanted to do your engineering from Pune university then one thing always keep in your mind that you will have to work hard for securing the good mark.

Admission

I had gone through counselling of AIEEE. During counselling we had list of available colleges with branch wise and as per our preference, we should select the college. After counselling, will get the confirmation letter of our admission and then will get deadline for deposit the fee and hostel fee (Hostel is not compulsory). Once we deposited the fees will get the receipt of the same.

Faculty

3

My college faculty was very good. I was from electronics and telecommunication department. Our head of department (HOD) was very good and he was a very much genuine person. at least he understand the student problems. They resolved our every queries which we were facing except some teachers. Some teachers show their grudges at the time of file submission and practical examination.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I have genuine interest in civil engineering. The faculty student ration is 1:50. Our faculties are well qualified they are master's degree holders in design and structural engineering. Some of them are PhD holders and many of them have done their master's from NIT and IIT. Term exams are scheduled after every 2 months. it is easy to pass because it consists of 30 marks only.
