Ymca student review

To seek admission in YMCA Faridabad one should take part in hstes counselling. Hstes conduct counselling sessions after jee mains result. There are 2 rounds and 1 physical round in hstes counselling. There are reserved quotas for various categories like ews obc sc st and PWD candidates. Admission to YMCA is based on jee mains ranking. For ece one should have approx 90-95 percentile in jee mains. There is no age limit for admission to BTech. One should have passed 12th class with PCM and English as a compulsory subject. There will be 2 rounds. If u are allotted a seat in 1st round then ur seat is confirmed and if u want to change branches then u can go for 2nd round of counselling.

Cs it and ece are the core branches and known for their placements in YMCA Faridabad. I chose ece because this university provides you with different opportunities to work upon. Like labs are well maintained. There are almost 70 students in ece branch. Most of the faculty in YMCA are PhD holders and some of the teachers are MTech graduates and work as assistant professors in this college. The teaching quality is quite good. Teachers are helpful as well as motivating. Semester exams are nearly held after 4 months and passing exams is not a typical task here. Exams are easy to pass.

College gives good internship opportunities. Students start the internship in 3rd year. The stipend is not very much. Students do internships for the experience. Students make projects in their course. They do projects in team.

Students are eligible for placements from the 6th semester. Many students do internships and from the 7th semester, companies start recruiting students. Many companies recruit students. Many dream companies like amazon Flipkart cognizant adobe visit here for campus placements. Companies like IBM Yamaha Accenture Erikson Gemini solutions whirlpool also visit here and provide the opportunity to students. The highest package offered was 30lpa and the lowest package is 4lpa. The average package for ece branch is almost 5lpa. And for cs it is 7lpa.

The fees are quite reasonable here. One of my reason to take admission to the YMCA is its reasonable fee structure. Fees are approximate 3 lakh for 4 years BTech. This university also provides various scholarships to students. The student who tops semester exams gets a cash reward. The economically weaker section and obc category students get various financial help here. Ymca provides a better place to do internships and apply for various jobs. Many companies visit campus and provide 2nd and 3rd year students to get better internship opportunities.

The name of the fest is elements culmyca which is held every year. Fest is so so here. Sometimes, celebrities visit here and entertain the entire crowd. Singers comedians and many more are invited .. there are many tech fests also which provide technical enhancement held by technical clubs of YMCA. There are almost 50000 books in the library and provide a good environment for students who want to study. Classrooms are well maintained but there is no ac facility so there is a problem in summer. There is only one ground on which different sports activities take place. there is almost every game introduced here like badminton archery table tennis cricket etc. There are many cultural social and technical clubs that give a chance to boost knowledge. There are many coding clubs dance clubs music clubs here

Hostels are good in YMCA but the major factor is that hostels are provided to first year students only. After one should have to settle down in pg or flat. Mess food is good as compared to other colleges. There is proper cleanliness and maintenance of the kitchen and mess area. Hostel rent is easily affordable. It is approx 20k per year and we have to pay separately for mess food. There are many pg facilities nearby college so there is no living problem.
