Internship opportunities

During counselling, I applied for 2 colleges, ymca Faridabad and LNMIIT. I was also getting iiits, nit's and some good opportunities through jac counselling. I went forward with cs in YMCA over ece in lnmiit because ymca has a better brand name and is a government university whereas lnmiit is a semi-government college. Ymca also has a good placement record and is located in Delhi ncr and thus providing many more opportunities for exploring. I live in Faridabad only so i had the domicile quota as well as girls quota and thus got cs in the second counselling. In the first counselling, I was alloted IT.

I chose computer science because it provides the best job opportunities in today's world. The student-faculty ratio is fair. In regular classes, the ratio is 70:1 whereas for labs it comes down to 35:1. All the faculty are highly qualified most of them to hold PhDs. The term exams are not too difficult to clear even if you just take your classes seriously.

College offers internship opportunities right from the fourth semester it includes both paid and unpaid internships. Some students even get preplacement offers by the companies in which they serve as interns.

Ymca has a great placement record almost 80 to 90% of the students in the branches of the top get placed. Companies like Adobe Walmart Cognizant etc visit the campus for more details you can go to the official placement page of Ymca.

The fee structure is very well designed. Here you will probably complete your btech in the cost of a year's expense at a private university. The college offers many schemes and fee waivers for the students.

The college does not have a very big campus its area is about 10 acres. The annual fest is culmyca and there are many other fests as well. The library is well equipped with almost every book you'll need. You don't need to buy books for your semester they are provided by the library and are to be returned at the end of the semester. The campus offers sports like badminton basketball cricket chess and many more or it also has other extracurricular activities like dramatics singing dancing NCCNSS regular conduction of camps by yrc etc. The college also offers various clubs like Tarannam the music Society vividha the dramatics club Mechnext, Samarpan, IJYA, Manan, Geeksman, IIC, carrier and counselling cell etc.
