I appeared For IIT JEE exam and Got an All India Rank Of 1,005,00 Rank, However, I Got admission in this college through Direct counselling just on the basis of my P.C.M marks in board exams. I opt for this particular college because It was one of the best from the existing colleges in Gurgaon, Haryana.
Internships Opportunities
No, our College does not Provide internships however they encourage us to constantly apply for internships in different companies in every summer vacations so that we can get an experience of how things work in corporate firms.
Placement Experience
According to College official records, these are the statistics for the year 2016, out of 651 students 221 were placed companies like TCS, Indian army, Indian Navy, Aon Hewitt, co cubes and many others come to our college for placements every Year. Eligibility criteria to sit in placements is the student must have an aggregate percentage of 60%.
College Events
Our College hosts the Following main events throughout the year. Dronspark-It is a technical event which is hosted by our college every year in the month of Jan-February. Teams from different colleges participate in this event along with the teams from our college for many exciting prizes and trophies.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Its feasible as compared to other Colleges like Amity, G.D Goenka and Sharda University. The Fees for our college per semester is around 50 thousand INR, the total fees per year including all other little expenses like examination fees, development fees etc is 1 lakh 10 thousand.
Fees and Financial Aid
Our college does not have any Scholarship facilities however our University gives 25 thousand to top 3 students which come on the university merit list. Our College also insists students for participating in various scholarships programs organised by other organisations.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel charges of our college are 60 thousand per year.The hostel for boys is within the college campus and consists of approximately 100-150 rooms. The rooms are small with one fan and has only single room which is shared by two students, however, since our college is surrounded by open area and Farms mostly the climate there is moderate mostly.
Exam Structure
Our college is Affiliated to Maharshi Dayanand university, Rohtak. In every semester we have 6 subjects with 4-5 labs.In our overall 4 years curriculum, we have 40 subjects. Each subject is of 150 marks 100 marks theory exam +50 internal marks out of which we require 60 to pass. We have 2 Internal exams in every semester which correspond to 30 marks out of 50 of internal and the remaining 20 marks is of Assignments and class behaviours.
Admission
I Got admission in this college through Direct counselling just on the basis of my P.C.M marks in board exams .However, this college also follows admission through Haryana state counselling, polytechnic Punjab state counselling and Lateral entry for polytechnic students, this allows them to get directly admitted in the 2nd year of the curriculum.
Faculty
Our college has Highly qualified Lab attendants, Assistant professors, Associate professors, PhD's and HOD'.Our college is having very experienced and friendly faculty which makes the process of studying and teaching very easy. Faculty of our college is available for the students inside or outside the college most of the times.
