Good Crowd, Bad Administration, Big campus, Average placement.

Admission was taken through the UPSEE examination my rank was 1332 in the said examination. I got CSE branch in counselling in the 3rd round since there was very little possibility of getting CSE in IET I opted for the second best state college.

The faculty is knowledgeable and experienced. But the curriculum is old. Some professors are so busy with the administration that they don't have time to teach. Semester exams are not very difficult. I believe most of the students pass without difficulty. Papers are made by college professors and copies are also checked by them.

Getting a campus internship is very difficult as there are not many companies visiting for internships. Students mostly score off campus internships in big companies like Amazon, American Express, Goldman Sachs etc.

On campus placement are quite limited but CS and IT students can get placement easily between 3.5-7 LPA, placement in core branches are very less and they mostly prefer GATE. Off Campus placement is great some of our seniors got placed in Microsoft and Bloomberg right after college.

Fees is 58350 per year + 10000 hostel fee + 30000 mess fee totalling around 1lacs per year. Being in government. College fee is not very high as compared to some private colleges. It is one of the most affordable colleges for BTech. Also, most students get scholarships of 46000 per year.

One major fest is celebrated every year and a number of the minor fests are organised throughout the year. The crowd is good you don't know who is going to top in the next batch competition is cutthroat. You could make friends for a lifetime here. Also due to its poor location, there are no good restaurants and visiting places. Ground and open gym are in the college campus and a Stadium is around 1 km.

Buildings are old and in need of refurbishing. Hostels are enough to accommodate every student. Hostel buildings are worse than the college building. Wi-Fi water and electricity are 24 hours. Food is okayish enough to survive. Some hostels have volleyball courts some have basketball and some have badminton courts. There is a clinic on campus but don't expect anything big. You can get medicine for fever and minor illnesses for free.
