Inside Heritage- all you must know

I was admitted in the 2nd year by the Lateral Exam(JELET) conducted by the West Bengal board. I got a rank of 1425. I got this college in the 2nd round of counselling. The admission process is quite long but the members of the administration will help you in every possible way. Process:- 1. First you have to go for the verification of all the original documents required for admission. 2. Next you have filled the cashbook where all the admission fees will be mentioned. 3. Then you have to go to the building of the account for payment(cash, check, draft, or any other way). 4. Then after you have to go for the online details process where you have to input data by yourself (like Secondary exam marks, your pan card no e.t.c). 5. Finally go to the administrative office and then they will do the rest of the process. Maybe that could help you.

Actually, before being admitted to HIT, I complete my Diploma in CST. That leads me towards the B.tech in CSE. In CSE there is 3 section with 60 students each. So total a number of 180 students in the branch. The faculty members of HIT are some of the best in their position. They all are highly qualified and had a good experience in teaching. Being an autonomous college we are not just bound by the skills and opportunities. We learn many different things in those 3 years.

There are many companies that give us the chance of working with them. A maximum number of times is the stipend. Internship in college life is as important as your study. The experienced you earn and the hard work you put in that moment will help you to place in good company.

After the completion of the 6th-semester students are eligible for campus placement. The companies like TCS, Cognizant, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Wipro, Microsoft, HCl e.t.c come to our college, and some students get 3 or 4 job offers. The highest package may vary but the average is 5-6LPA. There are 85-90% of students gets placed and the rest of others are went for pursuing higher study. My plan is to place in a company where I can learn the industrial level work and strategy and maybe start with my own start-up plans.

For the lateral students, we have to pay around 71thousand during admission(include seat book money). The fees structure may change after one or two years but in my time it was- 3rd and 4th 45,100/-, 5th and 6th 46,200/-, 7th and 8th 47,300/-. As compared to other top private colleges in West Bengal it was quite affordable.

The Annual Cultural Festival - ECLECIA and Annual Technical Fest - DAKSHH are organized with much fanfare and enthusiasm. The Best thing about Heritage is its Library. It's quite large and filled with uncountable books on many topics. The classroom is also large in size and we have a table and chair for every student. We have big grounds where the students can enjoy themselves after the class. We have also many clubs like gaming, drama e.t.c running by the students of HIT.
