I have applied for colleges in Bangalore but didn't take admission there as the college's fees were relatively higher. Sinhgad College of Engineering is one of the most famous colleges under SPPU. SCOE is awarded as NAAC Accredited with Grade 'A'. According to my, SCOE is a place for comprehensive development and self learning. Students interested in applying for BE need to pass 10+2 in the science stream with 50% marks. For selection, they have to take MHT-CET. Students from outside Maharashtra have to take the JEE-MAINS.

I think the college is worth the money that we pay and give us more than what we can accept. All teachers here are very helpful and always available to back us up. Their teaching quality is good . Being industry ready depends on students. The curriculum is relevant and the timings are stress free. Semester exams are of a moderate level and are conducted by the university which is SPPU.

The college provides internship opportunities, group discussions and training, and ability tests to make students prepare to match the current industry. Top roles like full stack developer, frontend developer, backend web developer, cybersecurity, etc roles are offered. About 50-60% of students got internships.

It has good placements. In the previos year, the highest package offered in the CS branch is 33 lpa offered by the Japanese company .The average salary package offered ranges between 6-7 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 1.5 LPA. Many companies offered a salary package that ranges from 6 to 11 LPA. About 50-60% of our seniors got internships and about 70-80% got placed. Top recruiting companies like TCS, Wipro, Mahindra,etc visit our college for placements.

I come under the open category i.e general category so the fees for the first year was approximately Rs.1,34,152 and for the rest, three years is 1,25,492. Lots of scholarships are provided to other category students like OBC, ST/SC, EBC/EWS and their fees are less than general category fees. The college has a centralized placement system and provides internship opportunities, group discussions and training and ability tests to make students prepare to match the current industry. Sinhgad's training and placement cell provide equal opportunities for students to get placed in reputed companies. The training and placement cell provides all essential training regarding placement drives which helped us in campus interviews.

Definitely you will love the campus. There are lot of things to entertain yourself in and around the campus.And the crowd is also decent. One more important thing about campus is its atmosphere. You will feel all the three seasons very special here .Greenery and trees everywhere. Vadgaon campus has big cricket ground. You can play various games there. Books and journals are easily available on campus as well as in the library. Various activities are also organized by SCOE's NSS team. The college also has a Codechef SCOE chapter for competitive programming. Sinhgad Karandak is the main event in Sinhgad institutes.

Hostels are very strict and secure as well, especially for girls. Boys too have good hostels. If you want accessories then you can live in NRI hostels also. Foods in hostels are the same in other colleges so boys don't like to stay in hostels for more than a year. They live in flats near campus. Lots of messes are available on Vadgaon and Ambegaon campuses. The crowd is really good. Fees for hostels are Rs 65000 per year and there are three seater ,four seater as well as five seater rooms.
