well, when I was in confusion regarding which university to join I came across IIITDM KANCHEEPURAM, the first thing I saw was campus tour and got a brief idea of how the campus will look like and how the hostels look like and all, after that I saw the faculty profiles and I realized they are pretty knowledgeable and after that I saw the location which is Chennai, this city hub for deep tech startup companies so I choose this IIITDM KANCHEEPURAM.
Course Curriculum Overview
Faculty are very knowledgeable and pretty much they are all having PhD from top universities and the way of teaching is also, we have 2 quizzes followed by end semester exam, they will set good questions and will help to improve your thought process and your way of approach towards one problem
Placement Experience
placements are on the average side and again placement solely depends on you university is like a bridge to company that's it so work hard you will get good placement and placement statistics are getting year by year and the people not opting for placements are mostly going for higher studies
Fee Structure And Facilities
fee wavier is there for SC, ST, PhD but they have to pay hostel fee and other fee and for other categories there is no fee wavier and they can avail scholarship from National Scholarship if their family's income is less than prescribed limit
Campus Life
well you will life time friends for sure and infrastructure is really good and fast developing too pretty much everything in lab is new and hostels are newly built and lab block is also newly built yeah simply putting you wont feel lack of anything
Hostel Facilities
for U.G you will have shared room in hostel in which you have share the room with another person and by the time you are 3rd year you will have separate room if you are lucky enough you will get single room from first year itself
Admission
for B.Tech there is no interview the admission is based on JEE mains rank and for PhD there is interview and for M.Tech admission is based on GATE score
