Course Curriculum Overview
I chose IT because of the digitization of our modern world has presented a good opportunity to pursue a high paying career in this field. The faculty here is world class having graduation degrees from other reputed institutes and having numerous published research paper and having foreign research experience. ration of faculty and student is 1:5. The teaching method constitutes both conventional (chalk and blackboard) and modern (projectors using animated films and presentations) methods. The exams were timely and with relevant preparation they are not difficult to pass but serious effort is needed for good grades.
Internships Opportunities
Companies like Microsoft,PWC, TATA Steel, hiland, infosys, TCS came for internships with stipend around 30-40k per month.
Placement Experience
Campus Placement is excellent here. Almost 70 percent of my batch got placed in reputed companies. Companies like Microsoft, UBER, Amazon, Directi , Harman, Infosys, Cognizant came for campus placements.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Students having family income more than 5LPA have to pay 67,500 as semester fees( hostel fee excluded-almost 4-5k/month). but students having less income than 1LPA can avail full waiver in their course fee making the institute suitable for everyone. Scholarships are available from various sources such as alumni association, college funds. Placement scenario is really good here. I got a job in TCS( System Engineer- 7.2 LPA).
Campus Life
Campus life is best here among all the other things. Students from all around India come here to study. So the diversity in student life is awesome. annual fest name is REBECA and it is held in the month of May. The library here is decent enough having books for all the streams and also modern journals.The campus has lots of clubs, almost one for every kind of hobbies like music, dance, Photography, Drama, Robotics, Coding etc.
Hostel Facilities
The Hostel facilities provided in the room were pretty basic. One bed, One table, Once chair, and one closet. Meal quality was excellent. Menu was non-veg for 5 days and veg for 2 days. No separate registration required for hostel facilities. If you opt for a course you are eligible to stay in hostel.
Admission
I faced written test and interview rounds. for written test i prepared from aptitude websites like indiabix, geeksforgeeks etc. and for interview round good basics and a little bit of hands of experience will be enough.
