Remarks
I took admission in nsec through wbjee counselling. It is a very much hassle free process , with no difficulties at all. My rank was within the nsec's cutoff, so i took admission here seeing the previous year's placement record with 42lpa as the highest ctc in 2021 pass out batch and in 2022 batch , so far the highest has reached 29.5lpa,i was impressed by it. The first year fees is 74800(first sem) and 66500(second sem). You can choose nsec for cse , it and ece, and even EE as well. our EE faculty is very good and probably the only private college in west bengal to provide 60+ placements in EE dept out of 120 students.
Course Curriculum Overview
i had interest in this course so i chose it, there a mentor provided to each student here in nsec. and students are divided in sections of 60 each.Almost 99% of the faculties are PhD from reputed places like JU and IIEST's
Internships Opportunities
Internships are also provided by our college with a stipend in product based companies. Students need to know stuff like programming languages 9C,C++,PYTHON etc.). ALso students need to know basics in order to crack interviews and get internships . Internships will further help to crack interviews in bigger companies
Placement Experience
From the 3rd year, students are eligible for campus placements. Companies like tcs and cts are mass recruiters. Other companies like deloitte, pwc, nagarro,cloudera, cloud kaptan, cabgemini also visit for placements. The highest package in 2021 was 42lpa offered by microsoft , in 2022 batch the highest offered is 29.5 lpa till now(dated 1/11/21). percentage placed in 2021 was 82 , and the average placements was 5.1 lpa. CSE,IT,ECE have enough placements. even core is having placements nowadays.
Fees and Financial Aid
Financial assistance is provided to the students,the college has a tie up with PNB , with a branch of PNB inside the college campus, Students can take education loan from there. West Bengal student credit card scheme is also accepted. and other scholarships from the governments like swami vivekananda scholarship, inspire scholarship all of them are accepted.so it is not a problem financially n this college.
Campus Life
Campus life is good, there's a ground in the college and as it is situated in the suburban area , one will get plenty of exposure to nature and stuff.Library's are well equipped and the books are provided on the day of admission as the library card is also issued that day. Classrooms have projectors and other amenities that are required in a 21ST century classroom. Tech clubs like pheonix and also rotaract club is present where you can actively participate and become socially active.
