The college is in west Bengal where wbjee held every year according to your rank in wbjee you will get the college here in which i got haldia institute of technology in-branch instrumentation engineering you must have a passing certificate of 12 th standard with minimum 55% there is quota for west Bengal students but no wiota for outsiders.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose this course because i want a job in the industry field and the faculty of the instrumentation department is really very good in this college. There is a maximum of 60 seats in this course in our college. Sem exams are there and internal tests are organized to test ourselves.
Internships Opportunities
No stipends for internships hpcl like companies comes up and Meghalaya cement which helps students to know about core companies how things are done there and helps to gain practical knowledge for student benefit.
Placement Experience
From 7th semester students can sit in a placement program. Many company visits here such as tech Mahindra, wipro, Meghalaya, cement, nescafe, haldia, petrochemicals, jhonson control. Highest package is 12-13 lakhs averageis 3.5 lakhs. Around 75% students get placement. My plan is to do mtech after btech so i am not interested in placement scenarios.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees is very less compared to other private colleges per semester fees is 45000. No scholarship but campus is good many tech companies visit our college and internships are also provided. Company like wipro ,tech mahindra, himalya cement, haldia petrochemicals comes here
Campus Life
Prayukti is one of the most major fest here held in march end. In which a large number of students participate. The library is very large here containing all varieties of books necessary for you. Sports activities are held from time to time like cricket badminton volleyball tournaments. There are many clubs here such as Hit students chapter, hitian inside etc.
Hostel Facilities
After admission, you have the option to choose hostel. Hostels are cheap 12000 per semester and you have to pay for food separately you will get 3 more roommates in a room there are 4 students. I am also living in a hostel only.
