Decent Teaching, Great Campus, Amazing Placements Record!

The college is known for its campus and extracurricular activities. College staffs encourages you to participate in competitions. College management is pretty decent probably a little less strict on students, but thats good. They also hold elections for Sinhgad Student Council which manages events in the college.

I have scored 97 in JEE 2015. My total percentile when paired up with HSC board's 81% was 94.00. I opted Sinhgad for its high placement record for IT companies.

The course structure is based on SPPU (Savitribai Phule Pune University), so it is as per regularized by them. There can be little tweaks to syllabus every year or two. Since 2015, there is new credit system instead of regular percentages. So, it is also kind of beneficial for the students.

I don't really know about this, as I am just into second year right now. Though, most of the companies came here are IT companies, the amount of core companies was little than expected by me.

So, this is probably the strongest point of the Sinhgad College of Engineering, their placement record is pretty damn good as far I know. There placement in 2015, where placed thousands of students in mainly Cognizant and Accenture and few Infosys.

This is also one of the good points about my college. They host hundreds of events every year in their glorious campus. Probably best in Pune in this category. They host many techincal and non technical events. They have Sinhgad Karandak which is very famous.

For General, it is about Rs. 1 lakh/year. For OBC, it is about Rs. 55000/year. For TWFS/SC/ST, Rs. 15000/year. From above figures it appears to have similar to other colleges too. So, it is upon you if you wi this cheap or expensive. I stand no where.

Yes, there are scholarships for backwards classes which can be availed as per government rules. I come from General, so I have less knowledge about this stuff.

Talking of gender ratio, we have pretty good amounts of both boys and girls. Campus life is amazing, everything we need is here. About extracurricular activities, we are well ahead. We held lots of competitions about robotics, and IT stuff, such as coding n all.

I really dont know about this. Probably, I dont talk much to seniors. Though, they may have good alumni network. And they can be helpful.

This exam structure is based on SPPU (Savitribai Phule Pune University). There is two Online MCQ Exams of 25 marks each semester with a Theory exam of 50 marks along with 50 marks practical or 25 marks teamwork if it is present. The total marks of subjects can be 100,125,150 or 175.
