JISCE review

Through Counseling, first round I got this college. The minimum criteria are of wbjee. During counseling day, need to stand in a long queue to submit details and documents at college with fees submission.

CS/IT was a no-brainer choice while looking at placements. There were 11 faculties and each mentor had 5 to 6 students under his/her mentorship. The minimum qualification of each faculty is m. tech. Some faculty have done Ph.D. Exams are not difficult just need to pay attention in class. No special effort is required.

Internship opportunities were provided mostly using Internshala from the first year. During placements, many companies provided internship opportunities with a minimum stipend of 15000. I have achieved 2 internship opportunities to date.

More than 90% of students get placed in a batch, many of them get more than 1 job offer. My plan is to join IBM and gain experience there. Most students got a minimum package of 3.5 LPA to 4 LPA. Companies with offers of more than 8 LPA appeared in the college too for placement.

There are no fees hike and the fees structure will be explained while taking admission. I have got placement at IBM with CTC of 4.5 LPA. College provides you opportunities to get internships and other programs for earning money while learning.

JISTech is the techfest event which happens in our college every year in the month of March mainly. There are few clubs in the college where students participate and compete with other groups. Various coding events are organized by the CSI club.

I lived in a PG near the college. They provide 3 times meal to us per day. Quality of meal was like you will be able to eat better than the college hostel. You need to college admission cell for the hostel facility.
