Everything is good, all worries is about the place and condition

For our batch we had online counselling and documents were also verified online. Admission criteria were happened by josaa counselling and csab special rounds. There are 6 rounds in josaa counselling and 2 special rounds. I got the seat in josaa.

Exams are moderately tough. It all depends on the way we study and learn the concepts. If you work hard it'll be easier to score good marks. But don't expect a 9 pointer and 10 pointers in BTech, like as in 10th and 12th.

Nit srinagar collabarated with some IITs like IIT delhi, IIT Bombay and some NITs to provide internships for students in winter vacations(dec-feb) and with local companies too. We have a training and placements cell where we get training about interviews related to jobs and we learnt many skills, and recently NIT SRINAGAR secured 69th nirf rank.

After 5th semester we can sit in placements drive. Many companies visit nit srinagar like Infosys, Tcs, wipro, l and t, etc. highest package in this year was 30lpa and avg package is about 5 LPA. Around 40% of students are getting placements. Rest are approaching to higher studies by cracking GATE.

If you are belonging to sc or st caste, your course fee is free. And if you have annual income less than a lakh then your course fee will be free. And there are many scholarship programmes that will be available.

We have many clubs like coding, dance, music, drama, photography, poetry, and all sporting clubs. We have a library where all academic books are available. And they conduct many fests whole the year.

Hostel accommodation is good. Rooms are allotted According to their cgpa. Hostel food is not much good as I am from the south. It'll be habituated slowly. Wi fi connection is very good and speed. Room heaters are also available as the campus is in a cold region.
