My college my pride

I applied for several colleges but due to my moderate score at 12th, I got chances at very limited colleges among which Heramba Chandra college was the one where most of my friends opted to join which motivated me to take in this college. The admission was pretty simple. As we all know the first step is the online admission form fill-up at the college website. Than the merit list will get published in the college website according to the marks of the candidates. After that the college will call you for a simple counselling and document verification session after which the admission prodecure will be done.

I choose this course due to my habit of too much reading and learning the fantasy world and enjoying it. Literature is all about portraying, learning, reading, writing, imaging and so on which pushed me to go for this course. The faculty members are very good. Each one of them are very much supportive, helpful and encouraging. The way they teach is also very noteworthy. From background discussion to main topic , everything is discussed and explained. Almost all the professors of our department are PHD holders and they also have some extra skills and knowledge like singing and dancing. The exams are conducted semester wise, almost after every 6months. It not easy or that hard to pass the exam. It's just that you have to work hard to score well.

The cost is reasonable. It's not too high and not that low. The fees hike is also very minimal. The college charges us approximately 4k per semester which is quite reasonable. The college has some scholarship schemes. Many students applied for it and they also got the beneficiaries. I didn't get the job yet as it is my 2nd year and I still haven't applied for anything.

Life at the campus is good. The seniors are very much friendly and helpful. The college also has a big library where we can get each kind of book we want to read. The college conducts a Freshers party for newly admitted students which are pretty impressive. When I joined in 2020 the best part was the Freshers party. It was the day when I enjoyed the fullest. Apart from it the college Union also conduct an annual fest every year. Among the extracurricular activities, the students use to play cricket, volleyball and football in their free time.
