Remarks

Good :- Lecturers are nice and helpful, They always help the poor students that is good thing in my college Bad :- In our college there was two groups Himachali and punjabis . They always fight with each others.

Worked with company who give support in networking as well as desktop. After that they start working with VSAt field. I enjoyed in that field. After that continuously worked that field.

College Events

Participation in sports basket ball cricket and volley ball, I was also organised the basket ball tournament. I really enjoy that. I organised the college tour to Goa.

Annual fees -35000 hostel charges 2000 Mess charges -2000 per monthIts Expensive at that time but manageable. We make plan accordingly how to save the money to enjoy during trip.

No Only those who are topper get the benefit in annual fees. Others have no excuse. They have to pay complete fees

Campus Life

Campus life is enjoyable. Now this time we miss those days. we sat together and discussion is going on one topic whole night. Then in got up late in the morning and then have to attend the college with feeling sleepy whole day.

Hostel room was good. Every room has balcony. So we sit their during evening hour. Its was good time. We enjoyed to study in groups.

It was at beginning stage at that time but now the college is good. Students enjoying the college life. In the beginning there is no hostel for all students. Students stay in city. They higher the rooms on rent

Average package is 3.8 LPA, and 50% students are getting placed. My plans after getting the degree is working in an IT company.

Highest is the PPO of 93 lakhs and placement of 60 lakhs. around 93% are placed who registers for placements Average CTC is around in between 18 to 22 lakhs

Placement Experience:

At NIT Hamirpur, students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester onwards, and the placement scenario has been quite encouraging in recent years. A wide range of companies such as Infosys, Wipro, L\&T, Capgemini, Tata Projects, and several core as well as IT firms visit the campus every year. The highest placement touched an impressive 2.05 crore offered to a mechanical engineering student, while the overall average package stands at around 10.5 LPA, which is a strong figure compared to many other NITs. The placement percentage remains high, with a majority of students securing offers, especially in branches like CSE, IT, and ECE, though core branches like civil and mechanical also receive good opportunities. The profiles offered include roles in software development, consulting, design, project engineering, and research. After completing my degree, I plan to take advantage of these placement opportunities to gain solid industry experience and later decide whether to pursue higher studies or competitive exams for broader career growth.

Remarks:

There are mostly good remarks for college like the environment in kangra Himachal Pradesh is best in the area. There are dhauladar hill ranges infront for college and fress air of hilly areas are good for students.
