Great College Experience

Eligibility- It is necessary to have had Mathematics as a subject in 12th. Application- Every information regarding the application and the admission is provided on the Delhi University official portal.

I chose the course because I had an interest in mathematics and wanted to study more about it. There are around 16 teachers presently in the faculty and all of them have Masters Degree and some have Ph.D. as well, they all are well qualified and have enough knowledge about the subjects they teach, but some lack in delivering the knowledge to the students. Due to these online classes, it becomes difficult for them to teach and for us to understand. Some teachers' way of teaching is not that understandable, but if we listen carefully in each class, and give some time for self-study as well, we can ace the subject. The term exams get over in about 20-30 days maximum depending upon how many subjects we have.

There is an ample number of opportunities provided by the placement cell, for internships. There are various different companies coming on board including MissionEd, DU Assassins, METVY, Super77, etc., for various different roles. Content Writing, Video Editing, Research, Data Science, Web Development, HR Development, etc. are some of the examples of the roles that companies offer, there are many more to count. Some of these are paid, not all.

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 5th semester. There are many companies on campus including De Shaw, Deloitte, Accenture, Board Infinity, NTT, Studio Mosaic, Wise Finserv, etc. and some have really good and attractive packages. The highest package this time was 21 LPA, and the average till now is 6-7 LPA. Approximately 20-30 students got placed till now and the placements are still going on, so there are many more to go. My plans after getting the degree is to find a good job and get settled.

The annual fees is 13,215. There are ample number of internship and job opportunities that the college placement cell provides, some are really good, some are average. This time we had De Shaw, Deloitte, Accenture and many more good companies on campus for recruitment.

There is a lot going on, on the campus each month, but it's getting difficult to conduct everything online. Reverie is the annual fest that is conducted around February. Zistatva is the Diwali fest conducted by NSS every year around Diwali, this year it was all online and still we had a great time and enjoyed it to every bit. All course books are available in the library and all are in good condition. Some classrooms are air-conditioned, not all. There are many activities ongoing on the campus, including the sports day, various different sports competitions, and extra curricular activities and Competitions held by different societies and departments. NSS has a website that is to buy products from NGOs and help them through donations. There are many different societies and all are equally amazing! I am also a part of Anubhuti-The Hindi Creative Writing Society, and it's been a great experience so far and I got to learn a lot.
