Remarks
I got admission through keam entrance examination. I got 31272 rank in keam exam. By applying through Akshaya centre I got admission at the college of engineering thalassery in the 2nd allotment. The admission process was easy. There is a helpdesk for clearing our doubts while admission. There are reservations for SC ST NRI etc.
Course Curriculum Overview
My course was Electronics and communication engineering. There are two classes for ECE. 60 slots are alowded for each class including let students. There are so many talented faculties. They are friendly. There is no free hour for us. All the hours will be handled by each teachers. The series exam will conduct within 1 month. They help to develope our exam point of view. The series exams are very helpfull and no much tougher.
Internships Opportunities
There are many internship opportunities available in college like AICTE internship.. etc. The internship increases job opportunities. The companies like Infosys, TCS, Wipro roles offer under internship. There are projects to complete in the final year. It's about coding etc.
Placement Experience
Nowadays the placement increases a lot. Almost 40-50% students getting placement in each year. We are eligible for campus placement till 6th semester. Mainly recruiting companies are TCS, Inforsys, Wipro. etc. After getting campus placement we can shift to higher companies after getting years of experience.
Fees and Financial Aid
There are merit, NRI and management seats. Fees are 40000/yr for merit seats and 1lack /yr for NRI and management seats. There are so many scholarships for students like Egrants etc. There is a fee concession for SC ST OBC etc.
Campus Life
The campus was naturally attached. We can have a Very nice campus life. There are so many program's like freshers day, union day, arts, sports, techfest.. etc. There are so many books and journals in the library. There are more groups like NSS, IEDC, IEEE etc.
