Remarks

The admission process has been improved a lot from the previous year. I am glad to see the progress of the admission procedure. And when I went to the college for submitting the documents it hardly took 20 mins. The services have improved a lot. Eligibility for BCom students from any stream can apply for it. But people from commenced background and those planning ca / CMA / CFA. Bcom /BCom Hons is the right choice for you. I took admission on basis of 10+2 marks.

Course Curriculum Overview

I have taken this course because I am further plans for MBA or opt govt job. Bcom has practical implications in real life you will get to know about income tax, financial marketing, computer application, and many other interesting subjects. Exams are easy to pass. But to score above average you have to put in a lot of effort even in online exams it's not easy to score a 9+ CGPA. Teachers are just excellent and the way practice is taught online it's really helpful and easy to grasp.

Internships Opportunities

Humbee , cry, Godrej, tata, we grow, the embassy of Hungary, bajaj capital finance, supertalls, pop xo, my glam, and many more top reputed companies. Roles provided are assistant, sales manager, hr, content writer, general manager, etc. Most of the internships provide options for work from home/ offline mode, letter of recommendation, and performance-based perks and stipends.

Placement Experience

Students are attracting the hub of prominent companies such as EY, S&P Capital IQ, Goldman, IBM India, FIS, UDS, Godrej, Indigo, ICICI Pru, HDFC, Tata AIG, etc. The average package is around 3-5 lakh p.a., the maximum package is around 9-12 lakh depending upon the job and placement. After getting the bachelor's degree my plan is to go for MBA from IIM, prepare for govt exams, and to a part-time job to support my family.

Fees and Financial Aid

The scholarship program is also there for the ews category children but I don't know much about this. Around 30 programs are there Mrs ruby Basu prize, sh rm Arora Memorial prize and many more Fees structure for 20-21 batch - 14,447 for bachelors of commerce. Yes, we have Excellent job opportunities on campus. Where we are paid a stipend and a chance to work on full-time projects.

Campus Life

Symphony is the name of the annual fest. Annual fests are being organized online for the last 2 years due to coronavirus. Last year the theme was Candle in the wind and so many competitions were organized and duration was around one month. Startup combact, art competitions, debate, and essay writing. Every month Society organizes the competition. We have amazing societies ( Nritya, music society, placement cell, commerce society, entrepreneur's society, English society, and many more ), sports quota is also there. We get a chance to participate at the national level. The College library has amazing facilities. And a wide collection of books.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Underrated College- An honest opinion

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

All about SRCC life, exposure, placements, faculty and my experience

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

Dyal Singh College: The Good, The Bad and The Confusing

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.

I choose Janki Devi Memorial College mainly because it is a Delhi University College and has a good academic environment. I had applied to a few other DU colleges as well but the cutoffs is some of first slightly higher so, I could not get my preferred course there. When I got admission in Janki Devi Memorial College, I found that the faculty, infrastructure and overall environment is good, so I decided to continue here instead of waiting for further rounds. In comparison to other college I considerd JDMC has a disciplined environment, supported teachers and regular academic activities. The crowd is decent and the college focuses well or academics along with society and extra curricular activities which also influenced my decision.The admission process was conducted through Delhi University procedure. Eligibility depends on completing class 12th and qualifying through the entrance process used by DU. After the after the results and cut off education list are released, students confirmed their seats by submitting documents and paying the fees online. Overall admission process is what all the competition and cut off can be high with me getting into top colleges difficult. Life a Janki

Admission process was through CUET UG exam. The selection was done through CSAS portal based on our preference list and marks in CUET exam. Compared to other colleges, Janki is pretty quiet and isolated from other du colleges, which is good for safety. It is evolving each year and for an off campus college it's amazing.
