
Entrance Preview
I didnot gave any entrance examinations of any kind such as (IIT JEE, BITSAT, CAT or any other). I only completed my Mumbai University examination for bachelor of science with subject Chemistry and Drugs and Dyes in year 2006.
Course Curriculum Overview
The major focus is to create a world class students with an intellectually alive atmosphere of research. The course involves course work, a qualifying examination, leading to the B.Sc. degree. Besides research, students will be involved in several professional activities such as seminars, workshops, and review meetings.
Internships Opportunities
Our college did not provided any internship for our degree course during our time i.e. in year 2006. But, presently I do not know whether there is any provision of internship provide to existing student or not.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes, scholarship / loan facility offered by our college but only for the selective students. But also as scholarship options are extremely competitive, several banks offer loans to students to study abroad. Generally if a student gets an admission, the loan may be sanctioned. Student loans are offered under certain terms and conditions and definitely under a set scheme of interest.
Exam Structure
B. Sc. course structure of the university periodically undergo revision as per the statutes of the Mumbai University. It is mandatory for the university to revise the subject syllabus every three years so as to keep abreast with modern developments. Unitized structure was introduced by university since 1977 when 10 + 2 + 3 pattern was adopted by Government of Maharashtra.
Admission
I applied for the admission after my First Year of Graduation in Science field i.e.; F.Y.B.Sc. The procedure for the admission was quite simple and was on credits. No donations or any kind of money was involved during admission. I went to head of department of chemistry and applied for the available seat. They reviewed my passing certificates and process it for the further admission procedure.
