Selection criteria is done with the help of entrance exam called UPSEE. UPSEE entrance exam done by UPTU.I filled the list of colleges according to my interest in the counceling process and I found Mechanical engineering in KNIT Sultanpur according to my rank. My general ranking was 3552.Open rank for Mechanical branch was 1600.

Generally Mechanical engineering branch is famous for automobile sector and my interest was in these sector. In aur branch 72 students were there and 9 were girls.Most of the faculty is highly qualified. Teaching technic is based on the modern method. Most of the classes taken in e podium room by the teacher which is called smart class. Exam schedule on the time and if student attempted the class then can easily pass the exam.

Internship programm done by students on their interests and the prefence for the intern company. I completed my internship programm in Diesel Locomotive Work(DLW), Varanasi. It was four week internship programm. Company gave the task to collect the knowledge and functioning of the machine instrument and make a short file for the machine. This internship programm helped us in the final year project programm.

In our college placement facility is quit good specially for computer science, Information technology and MCA branch. TCS, WIPRO, Samsung and other company also visited for campus placement. 60-70%student placed in CS, IT and MCA branch and for other branches selection percentage was low. I thaught for psu company or public sector company so I dropped out for GATE entrance exam

College fees is taken yearly (one time in a year). Fees of Mechanical Engineering branch was 71350 in first year and then 67850 in remaining year. Scholarship facility was quit good. Most of the students were placed in many company by campus placement.

In every year there are fest and technical fest organised by the college management. Most of the books are available in the library from foreign authors which helps to student to take extra knowledge. Every sport playground available in the campus which helps the in extra creative activities

Most of the hostels are new in the campus. So there are fan table bed everything is available in the hostel rooms. Hostel fees is 10000 yearly but it is refunded in the scholarship. There are many hostels and PG outside the campus.
