Remarks

Due to COVID -19, the process of addmission has changed a lot. I remember when I took admission back in 2018, it was more kind of offline stuff. I mean I remember visiting the University campus at least 3-4 times before finally getting admission but I think my case was different as I took admission from the CW quota. For those who don't know about the CW quota, it's a quota for next to kin of armed forces and paramilitary nowadays it's all online, you will get updated through dashboard only.

So basically I took admission in BSc Hons electronics, a three years course. First thing first, I didn't choose this course, this course chose me (CW Quota) nevertheless it's a new course in DU, inducted in 2016 if I am not wrong. The faculty is quite experienced (more than 30 yrs of experience).

Class Size: 35Course Fees: INR 22000 per year

See I'll be blunt with you guys. See if you are coming for placements in Delhi University, I'll be suggesting you guys search for another University cause you guys will end up doing a 3-4 lac package job. Now it's not like DU don't offer good placements, it does but then it's courses like Bcom n BSc Computer science etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee as I mentioned 22000 but it will vary from 22000-25000 in 2nd and 3rd year. Oh yes Scholarship, our college definitely provide scholarship to meritorious students as well as economically weaker students too.

Campus Life

Believe me, you will definitely enjoy not only in this college but in any college of DU. There is a plethora of clubs and organisations you guys can join for eg dance club, music club, NSS, NCC etc . You can enrol yourself in any of the clubs.

Placement Experience:

placements cells were little challenging . there were really less near to zero placement were there .so thats a problem you have to go for higher studies to get a good job and financial stability mostly students do this only.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum consists of relatable topics and interesting ones as well this is what quite influenced me to take this course. We have labs which help us learn how to prepare various organic compounds which are used in many day to day products . The course also has a 4th year research program. There should be more equipments in lab for the research. The frequency is good for exams being conducted and there level is also quite good

Placement Experience:

Maitreyi college's BSc life sciences is a three year course and admits almost 130 students . The average package is INR3.40 LAKHS but is very difficult for the students to get placed under this course

Shivaji College Experience

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for the placements provided by the college in their 3rd year, while they can pursue internship offered by the college in previous years. Average sized companies visited the campus with lots of students being placed for jobs. The highest package I am not aware of but lowest was of around 300000 pa. I plan to pursue masters after my graduation degree.

Life in Kirori Mal College.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester. I don't know a lot about campus placements but I know that there is a training and placement cell in our college that provides good packages to many students. Some students got more than 7lpa last year. I will be doing my Post graduation after college and will make a career in academics.

Best college of DU for Mathematics

Remarks:

Canteen of the college is not much good. But it is good for a student. We can make our career in different field from this college. It has provided us playing material so student cam play there favourite game
