Honest Review for Hansraj College

I was admitted to college using my 12th scores as Delhi University prefers merit process than entrances for majority of its courses. Admission through 12th scores do make sense otherwise your schooling is of no use when it's not going to benefit you in the future. Why would then any student study and focus in school? The ideal process should be allowing candidates bases on the some threshold of 12th scores, to sit for the entrances.

Course Curriculum is research oriented. Top faculties are there with their genuine mindset to help students and inculcate habit of researching in them. Guest lecturers from other top colleges do give us classes and sessions which is also a great learning experience.

There is 100% campus placement. Most of the companies are startup. Most of the placements are for Bcom(H) and Eco(H). Big firms do visit the campus. The majority of the job profile is Sales. Average CTC offered is 4-5 lpa.

The average Yearly fee is Rs 23K which I believe is high, especially when we compare it with other Delhi University colleges where fees ranges between 10-12k per course. Our High fees is due to the fact that Hansraj is a semi gov college. It is owned by DAV organization and University of Delhi. Internship Cell takes care of internship through out the year with their mega event of Internship fair every year. They operate through websites and whatsapp groups. Placement Cell handles our placements very professionally. Majority of the placements are for commerce background people. This is the story for the whole Delhi University colleges.

Various clubs and societies are there to entertain you and to develop your all-around personality. Every day, something is happening in the college and the campus. Hygienic and cheap campus and college cantene with average price of any dish is 30-40 Rs. Every year, each college celebrate their annual fest with megastars and huge delhi crowd.
