Remarks

The admission process is simple. Admission to this college is on the basis of your 12th class percentage. You must appear in jee the main exam. It is not necessary to qualify to jee the main exam but you have to give at least one jee attempt out of four.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

I have got this branch on the basis of my 12th percentage. The students to teacher ratio are quite satisfactory. The students to teacher ratio are 20:1. All faculties are Ph.D. qualified. They try to teach in a very easy and simple way. There is 2 sessional exam and after that end semester exams. Passing end semester exam is very difficult.

Internships Opportunities

2.5

Internship programmes are introduced from time to time in campus-like summer orientation. Many more opportunities are also provided for getting experience before getting a proper job. Many companies also provide pre placements offered. TATA, Wipro, and many MNCs come to campus. Those who can not get internships apply off-campus for internships.

Placement Experience

3

The placements are good in the mechanical branch but it has increased from the last some years. The placements percentage is only 28% in 2019-20 which increases to 65% in 2019-20. The median salary is 4.5 lakhs and average package is 6 lakhs. Many big companies visited here like Maruti Suzuki, Infosys, Bharti Airtel, canara bank and many more

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees is approximately 37.5k per semester in btech. And hostel charges are around 13.8k per year and you have to pay mess charges monthly. Sc/ST students firstly have to pay full semester fees but this fees is refundable. There are many scholarship opportunities like PMS scholarship, orphan, topper scholarship, and many more

Campus Life

3.5

Campus life here is great. You will gonna enjoy 4 years of btech here. You will find greenery everywhere. MDU has a Student welfare department having an activity zone as a student activity center equipped with many books. Sports facilities are great and almost every game is played here. There is one swimming pool, running track, gym, volleyball ground is there in the campus. There are many clubs and societies for extracurricular activities. Many events organized here like quiz competition, Diwali celebration, sports day, investiture ceremony, etc

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Hostel facilities are good and there are 10 boys hostel and 10 girls hostel. Girls hostel are well maintained than boys hostel. Mess food is not so good but eatable. There is one common room for students to enjoy. There are many pgs, rented room are available near the collage.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am in the computer science and engineering branch. I want to be a software developer and I am passionate about coding and I love to code that's why I am chosen this branch. The faculty members of my college are awesome and helpful. They are well qualified and knowledgeable. They cooperate with students in every situation . they focus much on the weak student so they can also pass the exam. they use the blackboard and smart classes both to teach the student effectively. we have industrial exposure also. the well built spacious will have no importance if not for the wonderful faculty the college has. All are faculty members are highly knowledgeable and done their post graduation from one of the top colleges like IITS. and most of the teachers are GATE qualified and even it is not once. they are writing the exam regularly. so, if you prepare for the GATE exam, then you can get great help from them. they used to prepare us for the GATE exam, along with academics

I am a Delhite and my college is on outskirts of Delhi and also i being residing near du north campus used to think i will enjoy the same college life. but being into a professional (b.tech) course gave me a different view of college and its life. i came to know how to lead a professional ethic life, learnt some good meaningful things.college management is getting strict day by day for laws against students but the other tasks like things that need to be get done from peon are not getting done. ac's dont work even after complaints. in total the college needs a great improvement else it will keep running the business with no fruits.
