Remarks
The Admission process was smoothly working. There was some issue in last year that in spot round some of the students with lower percentile score were given seats as they paid well to college rather than those with high percentile scoring students. But don't worry from this year onwards government has given a warning that they should strictly given admission through percentile scores only.
Course Curriculum Overview
In my first 2 years of college, I have given exams through online mode only, So the difficulty of paper wasn't that much but one needs to study for getting Average marks. Our college from 2nd year onwards started following Assessment which was mainly focused on Viva of 30 marks, MSE and ESE of 30 and 10 marks respectively and Seminar and Group discussion for 15 marks each.
Internships Opportunities
Our college gives a list of companies and industries names where we can apply for internships. Our college also gives guidance for students seeking internships. Some of the students got internships in Havels company as data operators, some got internships in luminous, John Deere, etc. Our college curriculum is designed in such a way that every student has to do 1 hardware group project and 1 software Individual project every year and other course projects in respective subjects. Projects should be unique and teacher have strict record of that. Every Saturday there is project review in which individual and group have to give details of work completed in following week. The faculty was assigned to help and motivate students to publish paper and mark patent for their project.
Placement Experience
Students who are studying last year are eligible for on campus placements. Every year nearly 100 companies visit vit pune for on campus placement. nearly 50 + companies are arranging off campus placements every year for students of Vishwakarma institutes (vit), at vit Pune. Some of the companies are Accenture, TCS, John Deere, Kiroslkar, Infosys, Barclays, Mercedes Benz, etc. The highest package was taken by one of the CS students from Microsoft company of 35 lakh. About almost 70-75% students get placements others go for higher education and remaining gives various government, defence, banks exams.
