Remarks
The admission was through JEE mains marks as well as class 12 board percentage. The process was smooth and was not conducted by Thapar itself. There were spot rounds too in the offline mode. The admission process was offline followed by online counseling.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum was really good as it includes only the core subjects after the first year which makes it a lot more apt. The course structure is really good as it focuses on the overall development of the student.
Internships Opportunities
Internships opportunities are also available to the students. Internship opportunities are not enough to get a considerable amount of students placed in a company for summer internships but for 6-month internships, students do get a lot of offers.
Placement Experience
The placements are great, especially for computer-related branches. The average salary is increasing every year and is nearly about 12-15 LPA in the current scenario. Internship opportunities are also offered to the students. Companies like Apple, Adobe, Goldman Sachs, Arcesium, Flipkart, Amazon, and many more also visit the campus.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college is quite expensive and nearly costs you around 20 lacs for the whole B.tech. But also you get this college at a really low JEE rank and even after that it provides you with the opportunities to grab good placements. Also, it is having very good infrastructure which makes the fees even more justified.
Campus Life
The campus life is really good as it is having a nearly 250-acre campus with almost all sports facilities available. It is having many clubs and each of student can find himself in at least 1 club . The library is also very very good having 4 floors and a great atmosphere to study having almost every book you will need in the due course of time.
