Valid Jee Main rank for spot round admission or through participation in OJEE using Jee Scorecard for all States student either you are from Bihar Haryana. Also passed class 12th with more than 60%. I was enrolled through spot round process. The spot round admission should had been online.

Course Curriculum Overview

The Course curriculum is little tuf due to covid. Classes are done daily. I chosed this course because computer science and engineering is in great demand and it will fetch me a good placement if I work hard.Also with cse branch you get maximum free time to study for extra stuff. The teacher is to students ratio is fine and maximum teachers hold phd degree. As of now to the term exam are good according to seniors

Internships Opportunities

The college has good internship opportunities from third year onwards. Many of our senior are doing internship and they are earning handsome stiphen around 27k and above. There is enterpreneurship cell. So any student has intrest can contact the department.

Placement Experience

According to seniors placements in our college start from 7th semester. And 3 year onwards internship opportunities open if you are talented and really study. Many companies have visited in past and placement record is decent with 26 lpa off campus placement. Eighty to eithy five percent students got placed in year 2020

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is good and there is no hidden charges and hostels are also well furnished with study tables and bed so it is worth of it. The overall cost of study is not too much as compared to other colleges in Orissa in fact it has the least fee structure in private Engeneering college.

Campus Life

The only demerit of silicon institute of technology according to me is campus size. One may feel disappointed or sad after seeing the college as it is small as compared to other colleges present in Orissa . It has got good library facilities but the books are little bit old edition one can avail a book for a semester at 50 rupees. There is not too big field but has two basketball coats. It has many groups like football club switch club for programmers.

Hostel Facilities

Mine room is AC room so it's little costly. The hostel has all the basic facilities aquagauard and all are available. Washroom are less. So be ready to wait in morning. The meal quality is good except the chapati we get. It's hard too eat the thick chapattis.

Course Curriculum Overview:

For csit the subjects kee changing accroding to the trendy stuffs that are currently going on but it was really hard to keep with that when all your subjects are changed and you have o idea or previous year qs to geta reference from. Exams are conducted continously with no gaps and its not a easy stuff students get lot of stress but still somehow manage.

A Complete Review of KIIT University from a Student's View

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities at KIIT are quite good, especially for us the CSE students.The eligibility criteria for campus placements starts from 7th semester. Many well-known companies visit the university every year like TATA Consultancy Services , Infosys, Wipro, Accenture and Capgemini.The average package offered is around 6-8 lakhs and highest package offered around per yr avg is 50-60 lakhs.The percentage of students getting placements is around 90% plus in average per yr. After completing my degree, i plan to work in software industry and gain more experience in the field of technology

Placement Experience:

I would rate the placements at my college as 3 out of 5. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the sixth or seventh semester, and a few well-known companies do visit the campus every year. The placement cell helps with basic training like resume building and interviews, and many students, especially from IT branches, manage to secure jobs. At the same time, the average salary packages are not very high and top roles are limited, so a lot of students also focus on skill development, off-campus opportunities or higher studies after completing their degree

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from their 3rd year onwards. It has been only 2-3 months but I have seen several companies arriving at the college, prominent ones being Flipkar,Deloitte, Xerox, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Microsoft, Dell and several others including startups. There is no accurate data on how many offers have been made this year, but there are rumours that more than 95% of the eligible students have got placements. After getting a degree my plans are if I dont land into a satisfying job then I will start my preparation of the military or start a new business.

So from 7th semester plcements are starting.Various Tech and Non Tech companies are also coming like TCS ,Accenture, Cognizant, Delloitte, InfoSys, KFinTech, Incture, GyanSys, Iserveu for Tech branches. and PRADAN, Aditya Birla etc for Non tech branches. Students also getting offers from OffCampus like RedHat ,CISCO ,Amazon ,Google. From On Campus Highest Package goes upto 12 to 15LPA and lowest is 4.5 but average is 5 to 6 LPA which is comperable. And about almost all are who are opting for placements got placed eventually.

After 6th semester the students get eligible for company placement. There are huge companies visited every year for the placement and many big MNCs like Amazon offers 100seats , Wipro offers 200, detollite offers 100, microsoft offers 10, ITC offers 150 , Infosys offers 300, TCS offers 200, Flipkart offers 150 and many more . Every year almost 80% of the students get placed at a good company with a minimum of 4 lakhs . After getting the degree I am planning to get placed in a multi national company like Amazon or Microsoft

Placements are ok but majority of the placement are for the IT and Cse sectors, but there are some core companies which offers a good packages. Around 40-50 % students pare placed in the companies and more over most of the students are up for the higher studies and cracking GATE exam.

See basically you placement depends on you .If you work hard you will get placed with a good package.In our college last year the avg package for CSE was around 13 Lakh per annum and highest was about 39 lakh per annum.Companies like Amazon,oracle Microsoft etc visited our college .After 4 th or 5 th semester i Think we are all capable of getting placed .
