Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I choose this course because I was always interested to learn about coding. This department in this particular college provides different placements. The faculty to student ratio is is 1:60. Most faculties have a PhD in there respective fields and a minimum teaching experience of 8 years.Technical assistants have Masters and a minimum experience of 5 years. The teaching method of most faculties was quite average. Exams were not much difficult and it was quite easy to pass provided you and most of the classes with due concentration. Since its an autonomous Institute it is the faculty who sets the question paper. Semester or term exams were held every 6 months. There were 2 internal Or class test that were held every semester.

Internships Opportunities

3

Internship opportunities were provided by companies like Google, Amazon and Abzooba. Students are required to complete a minimum of 2 projects during their degree program. In addition to that, we can also work on other projects under the guidance of our faculty.

Placement Experience

4.5

Students become eligible for campus placements after completing 3rd year or sixth semester. The companies which visited our Institute this year were - TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Cognizant, Accenture, Capgemini, Persistent, E&Y, Goldsman Sachs, Amazon, Google. This year the highest placement bagged by a student of this Institute of 9 LPA CTC. The average placement packages of students ranged from 3.6 - 4 LPA CTC. This Institute guarantees 100% placements. On an average 80-90% of students get placed in each department through campus placements. After getting the degree I shall be working for the company in which I have been placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

Since the total fees for studying in this college is quite low compared to other private Engineering Colleges. There is no such financial assistance or scholarship provided by the institute. The campus provides internship opportunities to all students. In addition to that students belonging to the TFW category do not have to pay their tuition fees.

Campus Life

4.5

The students studying in this college get to enjoy a vivid campus life.Fests, both cultural and technical are held adequately in the campus. Eclecia, UEQ, Shaastra, Technoistra are some of the fest held each year. There are 4 libraries in the college. Out of this one of them is solely for the use of students pursuing B. Tech. Semester books are available for free for each semester. A student can also borrow a maximum of 4 books using his/her College ID. Semester books should be returned after 6 months and extra books should be returned after 2 weeks of borrowing them.

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
