I chose this course because I was interested in biology and I did not like maths subjects, that's the reason I didn't choose engineering. Faculty student ratio is 1:10. Qualification of faculty is mbbs. Exams are conducted yearly.

As it is a government medical college we have our own old and ipd and even super speciality hospital. So there is sufficient flow and good strength of patients in order to gain sufficient practical exposure. Also, this internship of one year is compulsory.

After completing 4 years, of course, we internship for one year which is compulsory in order to get a certificate for private practice as it is government medical college. After the internship, we can join any hospital or we can open our own clinic or we can join government jobs as duty doctor.

The cost to study is very less as it is a government medical college. The yearly fee is as low as 59850. There are many scholarships that can be applied based on eligibility. Eligibility for applying scholarship is that your parent's income needs to be less than 5 lakh per annum.

There are many annual fests conducted in KIMS college like Kannada habba, annual sports day, synergia, and annual day The availability of books is good in the library. Amenities in the classroom are equipped with a modern projector. A social group run by students is ima MSN.

There is hostel availability for both boys and girls at minimum cost and hostels are well maintained with good hygiene Meal quality is very good and menus are of a different variety with non veg once a week and egg every day.
