Remarks
I had given the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination and scored 23000 rank in that and through that I got IT Branch in Netaji Subhash Engineering College. The admission process was smooth and easy to go through. At my time person scoring less than 25000 rank could easily get IT branch and then according to their rank Branches vary to college to college.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose Information Technology branch because there is a very vast growth and world future is in Technologies hand. There was a very good number of student and boys girls ratio was 60:40 approx and our faculty members were very good and humble too and always support us and encourages us to do more and more hard work, also the exams were held timely and not very hard and not very easy.
Internships Opportunities
I have done a lot of projects in my college life, some are worth mentioning and they are 2 websites using app development knowledge, one is called MATERNAL WOMEN HEALTHCARE, and 2nd is HOMOCURE both are useful regarding medical help and another is an application for online shopping.
Placement Experience
In my particular branch, 70 students are placed out of 90 and still 7 months left till the end of final exams and still a lot of companies are coming on a daily basis, talking about my college level placements then average package is 6.5 LPA and approximately 60%+ students in my college are already placed through on campus.
Fees and Financial Aid
I got placed in my final year in semester 7th in the month of October. I got placed at Accenture with a CTC of 4.5 LPA. College is very good regarding placements and all the big and top MNC's will come to the college for on-campus placements.
Campus Life
A lot of cultural and technology-related groups are present in the college and they regularly give seminars, organizes events, a lot more like that. Many competition are also held like debate, chess, Quiz, Football, Badminton, etc. Some groups name are like Robotics, Phoenix, GDC, etc.
