Eligibility of the course - You must have at least 70% in your 12th results to apply for this course. Application form, dates, fee details is all available on the website. You can also contact the faculty for guiding you through the admission process and enquiring about EMI instalments of fee payment, etc. (if needed) Overall, the admission process is quite simple and easy to understand.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because I wanted to study clinical psychology specifically through a BSc course. The faculty at Amity University is quite good (at least in the psychology department) Most of the teachers are young and have completed their PhD in psychology. They understand the students well and they are very open minded. There is 2 exams per semester (Mid Sems and End Sems). Other than that, there are also assignments, presentations, vivas, etc. (any two of these per semester) It depends on what the faculty selects.
Fees and Financial Aid
The total fees for the whole course in 2021 were 3.4L. The university provides scholarships for your first year (100%, 50%, 25%) depending on your 12th mark. I received a 50% scholarship in the first year. To avail of scholarships in the second and third year, you need to fulfil certain criteria like obtaining certain credits and standing in the top 5 positions of students in the first year. I don't really know about campus jobs yet cause I'm still in the first year and I've been attending online due to covid.
Campus Life
I've still not been able to attend college on campus during to covid protocols. But amity provides the opportunity to join clubs for various things like Singing, Dancing, Literature, photography, theatre, etc. Will update this information later as soon as I get on campus.
