Course Curriculum Overview
School of Journalism and Mass Communication at K.R. Mangalam University aims to develop critical and analytical thinking skills in the students who desire to pursue career in media industry. The curriculum is aptly designed to encourage academic and industry oriented growth of the students. School aspires to prepare students to acquire essential professional skills required to become a journalist, media professional or a mass communicator.
College Events
The KRMU CSI Student Branch in association with National Research Development Corporation (NRDC), Govt. of India organized a seminar on Intellectual Property Rights, at the university campus on 2nd February 2017. Hon'ble Vice Chancellor Prof. R.K. Mittal and Prof. Brijesh Kumar, Dean Academics explained the importance of Intellectual Property Rights to the audience and encouraged the students to actively participate and learn from the seminar. Mr. Bijay Kumar Sahu, Dy. Manager (IPR), NRDC was the technical expert to create awareness for IPR among the students. Mr. Sahu has been working on IP & Innovation Management and so far facilitated filing of more than 450 patent applications of different universities/R&D organizations in the country by providing report on patentability or novelty searches, state of art searches and technology landscapes study.
