Remarks

I didn't choose this college but my marks in the joint entrance of engineering gave this college to me so I got admitted in this college due to my marks and capability. There is no such thing to like about this as we didn't have any option but it is good and I feel extremely grateful to for studying engineering for 4years

Course Curriculum Overview

My subject has extream Industrial exposure as we can get to work inside the industry as mechanical engineers and we also get good placement in Cognigent and TCS and etc. My college faculties are normal not so great like IIT kharagpur and etc

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 350000 per year

Placement Experience

We have good placement and jobs as we study for 4years but the placement does depends on our capability and how good we can perform in our exam. Our college student get good jobs in many companies like IBM, TCS, Cognigent and etc. I myself I do work in Cognigent which makes me to feel blessed.

We held great events and fests which is also very popular between many big college as they do come to participate in our fests. We have good extracurricular activities like sports and etc where we students do get good recognition

Campus Life

My campus is big and we have huge ground as vivekanand is a huge college and we have great curriculum activities and our college have huge laboratories for our students where we do practice our practicals

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Deperments with strong placement cells secure 10-15 offers per company, depending on batch size. 5. 8-10LPA Highest package offered by Leading companies and 4-5LPA Average package offered by companies. 6. 60-80% of students getting placements. i am interested in Ph.D. programs for research positions.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

Svist review

I have applied in du, gnit and got confirmed seats in du but due to family reasons I didn't make it in du. And in gnit i didn't got a seat in cse department as it was full but it was offering me aiml. Then there was svist which was closed to my house and was providing the course.
