Remarks

Because the college have a good education structure. As well as it has a good social environment for studies and sports. The teaching faculty is good enough. The college is also easy to reach. This college is also have a good reputation.

The college has all the curriculum for students like intercollegiate sports, functions. College also take part in other district and state level sports. The college organise multiple functions in a year. Also it organise multiple sports activities in college.

Well as this is a general category education program so it basically don't have any placement options for the course. So here is no placement options here for the course as well as not for any humanities subject.

The college holds several programs in a year. The celebrates departmental Freshers and a big all college Freshers program in a big stadium or auditorium. It also celebrate basanta utsav. It also celebrate fest which is two days long.

Campus Life

The campus have a library. It also provides labs for all subjects. It has free wifi over the whole college. The canteen is good. It have a gym for students. A playground as well. Have both indoor and outdoor games

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Deperments with strong placement cells secure 10-15 offers per company, depending on batch size. 5. 8-10LPA Highest package offered by Leading companies and 4-5LPA Average package offered by companies. 6. 60-80% of students getting placements. i am interested in Ph.D. programs for research positions.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

I applied to bethune college, vidyasagar college, jaipuriya college, rammohan college, city college, lady brabourne college, for the chemistry hons in ug.
