Remarks

This is very renowned college in Barasat and North suburban Kolkata area. Also the total tuition fees is just 1.2 lakhs. It is very affordable. The distance of college from my house is very low. So I choose the college.

Course Curriculum Overview

Syllabus is very good. We get most of study materials from our teachers. No extra cost for study materials. Academics are very good. We get weekly grooming classes. Teachers are very helpful. We have whatsapp group for each subject to get support from our teachers.

Placement Experience

Placements and job offers like average. Our campusing started from 4th semester and we get many mock interview sessions to get prepare. Salary packages can raise 3.5 lacs per annum if someone struggle to get placements.

College Events

Every our college organize many activities like sports, football tournament, women cricket match, tennis match, etc. We celebrate many cultural occasions like diwali, holi etc and other occasions like fest which is most loving per me. We all enjoy our fest.

Campus Life

Campus infrastructure is good but WiFi is not available in our college. It is only available for staffs. We have a good fully air-conditioned library where we can borrow up to 3 books for 15 days. We have a free parking place for every students.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Deperments with strong placement cells secure 10-15 offers per company, depending on batch size. 5. 8-10LPA Highest package offered by Leading companies and 4-5LPA Average package offered by companies. 6. 60-80% of students getting placements. i am interested in Ph.D. programs for research positions.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
