Remarks

The reason for choosing this college is one because of the good campus and low fee structure.I have chosen this course as I always wanted to study this course, and I have plans for doing MBA after that.

Course Curriculum Overview

Teachers in our college are helpful and qualified, but there's mismanagement with the faculty. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry- ready. Faculty members were changed in the mid and end of the semester, during exams it was difficult to cope up with such things and prepare for exams.

Placement Experience

There are not many students in the class, and on average, there are almost 30-35 students. The highest salary package offered was 3 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 1.5 LPA. All the students in our class got an internship.

College Events

Managedia is the annual event, in which there are many events itself like sports, culture and everything. This year the fest was of seven continuous days, it started with sports for 3 days and then for 4 days with other events.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Deperments with strong placement cells secure 10-15 offers per company, depending on batch size. 5. 8-10LPA Highest package offered by Leading companies and 4-5LPA Average package offered by companies. 6. 60-80% of students getting placements. i am interested in Ph.D. programs for research positions.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

Well, I didn't apply to any other colleges because it was not necessary and there are not many colleges in kolkata for interior designing, and that also this good.
