In Kolkata, IEM group is the only Engineering college having 100% placement records every year, so I decided to join this college to get placed easily after completion of my B.Tech. It is a renowned engineering college in Kolkata and West Bengal, fee is very reasonable compared to other universities, placements are much better than other universities, it also conducts international conferences gives great opportunity to the students to publish their own research papers like PhD students at a very early age and also lets them design and delevelop new technologies, like mechanical engineering students made a car themselves in final year, we being ECE students designed a smart irrigation system using Artificial Intelligence. Technical fests are conducted every year where new technologies are designed by students which later get international recognition and rewards from renowned organizations like ISRO.

Course curriculum in our college has a vast reign, starting from Engineering, Management, Hotel Management, BBA MBA, Law, BCA, MCA, PhD. Faculties were really good, HOD of CSE dept is really good he is the main reason for 100% placements in our college, we have external faculties too to prepare us for placements free of cost, a teacher who charges 1lakh per day his complete cost is afforded by our college we don't have to pay anything extra for the same, Tapas sir renowned aptitude teacher of our country, apart from that course curriculum of ECE is also very updated all latest things are constantly added to our curriculum because our college is autonomous.

Placements are really good, every eligible students have bagged job offers in renowned MNCs, people even got jobs of 33lpa, many students bagged more than one job offer, avg package being 4lpa for all, I am placed at Cognizant now.

Cultural fests, technical fests, active participation in other fests of IITs IIMs, coding challenges, big fests many colleges around 6-7 can take part in our fests, good food. Renowned singers and personalities attend fests, all students are goven equal opportunities, even faculties take part in it. Thee is sports day too with different kinds of running races, football teams are there, cricket leagues are there, where all teams are owned and co-owner by girls, teacher vs student cricket matches fair umpiring.

Scholarship for all students who have scored above 85% in both boards class 10 and 12, percentage of scholarship varies based on marks, all good students are provided with the cheques of scholarship every semester, performance is very important in our college, even roll numberd and sections in our college are based on marks. Education loan is available in certain banks like HDFC.

Infrastructure is great, great ac classrooms with projectors and microphones, assembly area, ac auditoriums, basketball court, computer labs, fully wifi connected campus, huge library no need to buy a single book in thr entire 4 year course all books can br borrowed from the library.
