Remarks

It is among the top colleges in the city like Delhi. The learning at the college was really great. Also the brand name of the college matters a lot and the placement report of the college was very impressive. The thing I liked most about the college is their concern for their students. Lots of activities and seminars were conducted in the college to make students aware about the corporate world and also support by the placement committee to place each and every deserving candidate with the company of their potential. Had a really great experience.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course was actually very well planned and according to the need of the students. There were subjects like communication skills and environmental studies which was very important for the first year students as they can get ready for the corporate life from the starting of the course. The subjects are included taken each and every aspect of development whether in personality or in knowledge. Once I joined the corporate life and started working everything I worked upon was there in my college curriculum. Yes there were industry experience and college tries to give summer internships to as many students as possible for all 2nd and 3rd year students and after internships when the college started there was a proper viva exam taken by faculties and credit score was given to those viva. The facilities was also very good for the Computer Science department I can say. Few names I remember now was Ashish Sir, Namita Gupta Mam, and Yogesh Sir. They were one of the top notch faculty of CSE department.

Placement Experience

5

The placement and job opportunities was really great. Company used to visit from all the different domains and from MNCs to start up. There are companies who come for Business Analyst roles like ZS Associates and Mu Sigma. They used to recruit 20-40 students at that time. Then there are other MNCs like Accenture, Infosys that come to recruit from our campus and recruits atleast 400 students. There were companies with core technical roles like Navarro, Samsung R&D, Unisys, Libsys, E&Y that used to come to our campus.

College Events

5

Campus Life was awesome. There used to be 2 college fests that used to happen every year and also sports event at the same time. The fest of our college was very happening with celebrities coming to perform and students from other universities like DU also participates. There was numerous opportunities for hackathon and technical competitions like Robo war. There was an entrepreneurial development cell in our college where many renouned persons came to give lectures to the students. There was a environmental cell which takes care of the greenery of the campus. There was a very big auditorium inside the college campus with sitting capacity of 600+.

Fees and Financial Aid

There was provision that any student who has scored more than 90% in class 10th and 12th will be provided with the laptop at very less rate compared to the market. The first year student who scored more than 85% can change their stream if they wanted and every year college toppers were awarded with cash prizes.

Campus Life

Although the area was not very big but still the college had football ground, basketball court, covered badminton court, 2 Canteens, a 6 floor library with large number of books. We can issue the book from library and it was on of the biggest library I have seen. There were 9 blocks for different years and different courses. Wi-Fi facility was there in every block of the college. The practical lab has all the equipment and facilities and if any equipment was getting old they used to replace it with new one. The campus was one of the cutest and greenest campus you can say.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel infrastructure was very good and it was inside the college campus with 4 floors in each of the building. There was proper security and entry needs to be done while entering and leaving the hostel. There was bed, cupboard and study table provided to each student. Aslo there is a water cooler for the students on each and every floor. Also the toilets are very clean and the mess food was actually very good compared to other colleges hostels. Also there were 4 meals for a day that includes fruits and milk as well. The best part was sometimes students were asked what they want to have and the same thing will be prepared for them. But not all students could opt for hostel as it was on first come first serve basis so there are many PGs near the college at a walking distance with all the good facilities. Tiffin and cooks are also available at very nominal price.

Placement Experience:

Placements at my college are average, students become eligible from around the 5th semester. A few companies visit for recruitment, offering roles in entry level positions. The average package is moderate, while higher package are limited. Around 70 to 80% of students get placed. I plan to focus on skill development and explore better opportunities after completing my degree.

The placements of MAIT are decent as compared to market conditions. But the data shown on website or availble at various platforms is not the reality. The mass chunk of students who get a job are placed under and around 6LPA package.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very relevant as it contains useful concepts which a management student should know. And the concepts are very comprehensive and easy to understand. Examples are given in the curriculum which prepares us for the real world. Some teachers use the presentation based teaching which is good and should be encouraged. The exams are not that difficult for one who is atleast decent in studies.

Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

The course offers many things for students interms of their further academic pursuits or any placement they are looking for. Talking about the areas of improvement and teaching methods there are none. The exams of the respective subject are to happen. They take test 1 , test 2 and there is final exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I got a seat in Ramjas College. It is a north-campus college. The infrastructure is too good compared to the remaining colleges. The teaching also going well but I faced some language problems. I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.

Some students got more than 7lpa last year. I will be doing my Post graduation after college and will make a career in academics.
