Remarks

The Campus was a great attraction for me, that was also a point for choosing this college and the other factor was I got a Fee concession from the college for Sports quota, I have played for my District.

Course Curriculum Overview

Yes the teachers are well qualified and helpful. it makes the students industry ready. The curriculum is relevant, it teaches the students with the help of current technologies. The college tries to keep the students updated. The college also provides foreign language classes.

Placements in our college are good. The average salary package offered was 3.5-4.5 LPA. The highest salary package offered was 6 LPA. Lots of multinational companies visit the campus for placements. There is good placement infrastructure for students. Moreover, a lot of training programmes are conducted for students.

College Events

Different Colleges like Amity, St. Xavier's, IIHM, Bhawanipur visit the College for different events like Football events, Businesses Quiz etc, but the main event of the colleges is the annual fest, where the crowd is great.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Deperments with strong placement cells secure 10-15 offers per company, depending on batch size. 5. 8-10LPA Highest package offered by Leading companies and 4-5LPA Average package offered by companies. 6. 60-80% of students getting placements. i am interested in Ph.D. programs for research positions.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
