Remarks
It is a well known government college and the faculty is too good. The annual fee is minimum and it is one of the best women's colleges in Kolkata. It is a ragging-free zone and very disciplined. The atmosphere is very calm and best for students who are in a lookout for a good college academically.
Course Curriculum Overview
The faculty is too good. And we had more or less a good syllabi. Although I think it can give the students more exposure to the industrial key points. The computer science department is one of the best in the college.
Placement Experience
We didn't have any campus visits yet but there's likely to be one in the third/final year of our course and the companies expected are Infosys, Reliance and many others. Last year, 2 students from the batch were offered a job in Infosys.
College Events
The campus life is very lively. We conduct a lot of programs on every occasion. There's also an annual function named Aalap that is conducted in the winters and it is when you will find students from different colleges participate including ours too
Fees and Financial Aid
There's kanyasree that is offered to every female candidates by the government. And there's one that the college offers to people having annual income less than 100000
Campus Life
Well equipped labs and the libraries are stocked to the brim with books of different genres including the updated ones. There's Wi-Fi in the campus and a sports room which can be accessed by the students on showing their id proof.
Hostel Facilities
At this moment, there's no hostel. However, one is under construction. It is most likely to be done and ready to be used in the next year. So students have to stay in paying guests or hostels outside the campus.
