Reputed University, Overall learning, Learnt faculty, Good environment for studying. Environmental Science helps develop understanding of a wider dimension to the overall understanding of environment.
Course Curriculum Overview
Our department was new. Syllabus coverage was good. Dissertations and training was done at institutions like CSIR - CSIR- IITR, CIMAP. Faculties were from esteemed colleges and were very hardworking and dedicated.
Placement Experience
There was a need for improvement. We were the first batch that's why the process was not that set. It might be improved now. There was no Entrepreneur Cell, but since Banasthali is every growing and improving there might be one in near future.
College Events
Banasthali holds huge events for celebrations be it departmental fest, annual day, research conferences, everything is held at a large scale and participation in them gives a holistic development to the students.
Campus Life
Campus Infrastructure is good. Essential needs for students like Bookstores, Stationary, Library, Cyber Cafe, Canteens etc were decent. Wi-Fi was not set up in the entire campus at our time, but it might have been now.
Hostel Facilities
Banasthali is a large residential university. The hostels are huge and the room size is good. Sharing of course is the case. We were 3 in one room with almirah, study table, lamp, chair, fan provided to each of us. Common bathrooms. Hostel wardens are easily approachable and try to help you if it is a genuine problem. Seats are few and is taken into account during admissions. About PG I am not aware, but only if it is permitted, the students are allowed to stay outside the university, else everyone stays within campus hostels.
