Remarks

The college is very strict and it feels like you are in school. This mentality does not help one to grow as an engineer and become a mature person after completing the course. The principal is not a person who can lead, and the communication between the teachers and the students is less. I did not get any industry exposure. The engineering course is not useful in this college as you do not get to learn anything. You will need to learn everything on your own.

Entrance Preview

Get good grades in 12th with physics chemistry and mathematics as the subjects for evaluation. Apart from studies you also need to be physically fit to be selected and a clear vision at night is also important.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course curriculum is useful but outdated and should be updated as soon it can be. Further subjects that are studied include heavy aircraft paper, propeller, gas turbine engine, piston engine etc.

Internships Opportunities

Roles like working under superior engineers and managing roles were given. Only a few students got internship from college, around only 10-15%. The highest stipend was 5 lakhs, the lowest was around 1 lakh and average was 1.5 lakhs. It is a good place to get exposure to the real world around. One can extract a large amount of experience and benefit out of it. It offers many opportunities to the new coming students and fills them with utmost confidence they need to survive in this competitive world.

Placement Experience

4

Placements are important for all the students. These things are mostly understood by the college and nowadays, it is going very well. Companies are offering very good packages to most of the students. Most of the students are getting placed by in campus placements drives only.

College Events

4

The college also organizes cultural activities for the students so that they can take part and show their talent to others. These cultural activities make the students present themselves without any hesitation and these helps the students to learn how to stand on there on their feet without any fear about this.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The total amount of fees to be paid is around 5,20,000 which includes tuition fees, registration, book, library, uniform and all other expenses. Apart from this hostel charges of 36,000 to be paid per semester if you opt for the hostel.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are scholarships offered to meritorious students and those who need get the concession which they don't disclose socially but if anyone asks or they see the family income then they offer the scholarships to those students.

Campus Life

4

The classrooms are not that good though there are Air Conditioners and projectors fitted. But now, renovation is going on and the classrooms are developing to a great extent. The library is of good standard and totally centralized with good Internet speed inside and almost every necessary book and journal available. Zenith 2000 is a single engine piston trainer aircraft and is placed in our hangar. Students practice their repair skills on this aircraft.

Hostel Facilities

3

The hostel rooms are good, and I did not face any issue yet related to the infrastructure of the college. The mess and medical facilities are also good here. The new hostel rooms are good but the old hostels need to be renovated. Plus, more rooms are needed as in some hostels in place of 3 students, 4 students have to live due to less number of rooms. Hostel fees is 36,000 per semester.

Alumni/Alumna

We organize the alumni meet but not many turn up for the event and hence we know only a few of them and the experiences they share. They are very friendly and very useful. We can call them for queries whenever we want, and they have a very deep knowledge.

Exam Structure

Exams are an essential part to test if the knowledge transferred is retained by the students or not. They occur every semester and we get notes from our seniors to study for, apart from theory they also focus on the practical knowledge and they have three aircrafts in the campus for that purpose.

Faculty

4

The faculty members of this college are just awesome, friendly and supportive in nature. They are very much qualified and knowledgeable, and their teaching methods are in favor of students as they just like to teach in whatever way the student understands. The faculty-students ratio is around 25:75 for the whole college, and there are 2 industry visits per year from the 2nd year onwards.

Placement Experience:

Still it is new college you know that there is no certain records of placement. I am from 2nd batch of this college. But I would say it will provide enough good packages. In 2nd year you have to sit for internship as per the curriculum of this college. so out of 107 seniors, 85 students grabbed intership from the 2nd year. We hope we also be able to grab internship in 3rd year.

So the students can sit for placements right after their completion of 6th semester. The Campus also invites a wide number of companies in the college for placements and a lot of students get placed. Although the placement is not too high.

I am in the computer science and engineering branch. I want to be a software developer and I am passionate about coding and I love to code that's why I am chosen this branch. The faculty members of my college are awesome and helpful. They are well qualified and knowledgeable. They cooperate with students in every situation . they focus much on the weak student so they can also pass the exam. they use the blackboard and smart classes both to teach the student effectively. we have industrial exposure also. the well built spacious will have no importance if not for the wonderful faculty the college has. All are faculty members are highly knowledgeable and done their post graduation from one of the top colleges like IITS. and most of the teachers are GATE qualified and even it is not once. they are writing the exam regularly. so, if you prepare for the GATE exam, then you can get great help from them. they used to prepare us for the GATE exam, along with academics

I am a Delhite and my college is on outskirts of Delhi and also i being residing near du north campus used to think i will enjoy the same college life. but being into a professional (b.tech) course gave me a different view of college and its life. i came to know how to lead a professional ethic life, learnt some good meaningful things.college management is getting strict day by day for laws against students but the other tasks like things that need to be get done from peon are not getting done. ac's dont work even after complaints. in total the college needs a great improvement else it will keep running the business with no fruits.
