Remarks
The best aspect is of course the IIT campus life, quality of education, exposure while the bad aspects includes high study pressure of exams, assignments, Admission procedure is simple for any PG M.Tech course and is through GATE exam. The course starts from July and ends in June of the academic year.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course Curriculum is excellent with a mix of industry exposure and theory. A lot of practicals are presents in the course which a student can do in his own time. Lab access is 24 hours, no bar on that. Faculties are highly qualified (must have PhDs) and have rich experiences and most of the assignments they provide incorporates problems on practical aspects, or problem related to reality. There is mainly two exams; Mid Semester Exams (Mid terms) and End Semester exams (End Terms). Mid terms are fairly easier compare to End terms which comprises the hardest questions. Questions come from assignments and other unknown (to students) sources and requires unique answers. Plagiarised answers are highly penalised.

Admission
Interview is based on the basics of the subjects. Test pattern mostly comprises of quantitative aptitudes and reasoning and programming (based on suitable languages). GD is optional and I did not face any GD rounds. Mostly all companies have a screening test of aptitudes and core question (if applicable) and programming, followed by interview rounds. Sometimes, direct interviews are there and group task is also there. Preparation is mostly done online for this. A lot of books and websites exists for questions and programming platforms like GFG, HackerEarth is necessary for practicing programming questions
