Remarks

For the subject journalism and mass communication. I want to be a reporter I choose this college for so many reasons. Firstly,this is only for girls college. and the faculty of this colleges are so caring and strict.

Course Curriculum Overview

The annual social of the college is in many ways a culmination of the year long cultural and extra curricular activities of the students.they are rewarded not only for their academic performance but also for excelling in music,dance, debate, extempore speech and elocution competition. Other cultural activities include the Freshers welcome, teacher's Day celebration, students re union and staff re-union

Course Fees: INR 61 per year

Placement Experience

Our college is not reputated the faculty system is so much bad.they don't take care the students. they not gives the students the proper study material.the college collected the session fees are so much not affordable to the poor people. The college will not gave the opportunity of the placement at the end of the course.

Campus Life

Sports facilities are so good and also the library, the college library is housed in the ground floor of the college. It has almost 43,000 books on all the subjects taught in the college. The stock of books has undergone considerable expansion and the exhaustive collection adequately meets the varied requirement of all students and teachers.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Companies coming to campus like TCS,Wipro,Deloitte,Biocon,Pfizer. 4. Deperments with strong placement cells secure 10-15 offers per company, depending on batch size. 5. 8-10LPA Highest package offered by Leading companies and 4-5LPA Average package offered by companies. 6. 60-80% of students getting placements. i am interested in Ph.D. programs for research positions.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
