Remarks
The faculty is nice and helpful. You get high speed WiFi network which is indispensable for engineers. You can discover a lot within yourself by joining various committees in the college. It has one of the best canteen as well.
Entrance Preview
The entrance preview is: score a minimum 40% in PCM and you are eligible. Yes, they do require your physical fitness but that is just a formality. Importantly you must be having clear vision at night as well.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is very useful for me. I opted for this course as I have a passion for aircrafts and they are specializing in dealing with the aircraft, subjects are heavy aircraft, turbo, propellor etc.
Internships Opportunities
I don't think any good internships are provided by the college. You have to find your internship yourself. I also heard rumours about good placement and internships, but I don't get good experience for placement and internship. Overall, the crowd is very good.
Placement Experience
There are a lot of companies that have visited our campus. Almost 90 percent of our batch got placed. The highest salary is 14 lakhs per annum and lowest is 3 lakhs per annum. Some of the companies are Indigo, Spicejet, Go air, BSF and other aviation related companies.
College Events
Activities are conducted time to time based on the subjects so that interest towards the subject can be developed. Other than that not many events take place at the campus, we just have fun when we go home or in the library or the aircraft.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fees can be divided into categories and you can pay it semester wise which is 55,000 per semester and if you take hostel room then you have to pay 36000 per semester for 6 semesters
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes the academy offers scholarship to students who perform extremely well academically in school. Loans are not provided by the college. You can take education loan from any bank if you want to. I suggest you go for HDFC Bank,though their rate of interest is high but they provide the best facilities.
Campus Life
The college campus is neat, clean and green. The infrastructure is well-maintained, Wi-Fi is available, and all basic needs and facilities are available here. The food in the canteen is the best in quality. The college hostel is outside the campus. There is a library available here, and sports and games are also concerned in the college.
Hostel Facilities
I won't recommend hostel to people because the food there is devastating and disastrous. It can be considered hygienic but the quality and standards of food are not as required by a studying peer.
Alumni/Alumna
Seniors here are really hardworking and motivating. They give regularly guidance to juniors which I think is the best thing in this college. Seniors have to make their teams with juniors.
Exam Structure
All you need is to be regular in class and then you don't have to study much and give much efforts for your exams.The college make basics clear and help us to get the subject very well. Also, they take us to education tours for the practical knowledge of the subject.
Faculty
The faculty is really good and when I say this, I mean it! But the problem is that they often come late to the class which really wastes time but since the university is so big, I can understand their problem and hence won't blame them. The teachers are very helpful, knowledgeable and have quite a good industry experience.
