Remarks
The college is very reputed in Pune. Its ranked 3rd. The placement is very good. More than 50 companies visit every year. Almost all Sports facility is available. The college calls companies for internships.
Course Curriculum Overview
The college was very organized as it was a Army college. The syllabus was very outdated. In each semester they used to bring one new subject which used to teach about the newer technologies but the rest were outdated. Industrial exposure was provided, seminars were conducted, we got opportunities to talk to many working professionals. The faculties were satisfactory. There were teachers who were too good to be teaching in a Engineering college and there were teachers who were just reading the ppts. Aparna Joshi who taught concept of OOPS was very good and she completed all the topics with practicals
Internships Opportunities
I got an internship through one of Alumni's start up. They provided us with 10k stipend per month for two months. Name of the company was Aviabird Technologies. The college did enough on it's own to provide internship to almost 30% students and the numbers keep increasing every year
Placement Experience
More than 50 companies visit. The profiles are of Software Developer, business analyst, consultant, technical analyst etc. More than 270 students got placed out of 300. The placement cell is very active and they share very healthy relationship with the firms. The alumni network helps college develop and provide jobs every year.Bharat Pannu is a notable alumni. Lot if soldiers in Indian Army and you'll find Civil services officers belonging to AIT. Ud chalo is a famous start up. The Entrepreneur cell is still in making and they are developing every year
College Events
Most of the technical, extracurricular activities, sports events were won by AIT throughout Pune so it's very evident how college life was. The best thing was that the competition within college was too high. There are sports, technical , cultural fests only for the college students organized inter branch and at the end there are inter college competitions.
Fees and Financial Aid
They connect with start ups for providing scholarships to the toppers. One of the company was UD CHALO. Agif scholarship was also given. The Army already provides scholarship to students whose parents have retired. The scholarship based exams also used to take place.
Campus Life
Almost all sports facilities were available. The sports authority was always coping and were looking build. Wi-fi speed was decent. Library size was small but was enough as it wasn't a very big college. Books were brought to library after discussing with students and faculty. Labs were very good. New labs were made too.
Hostel Facilities
AIT could accommodate all its students. The situation wasn't the same before but they used their money in the right way to provide accommodation. There were triplets and singles and a few doubles. The room size was decent. Availing hostel facility is very easy now as compared to 2 years before
