DG Vaishnav College is one of the oldest college in Chennai which is affiliated with Madras University. Along with the Master degree course the college also offers UG level course. Application starts from in the month of June. Candidates must pass 10+2 exam and a graduation degree is compulsory for this particular course.

Course Curriculum Overview

MBA curriculum has always been two years. In the first year, fundamental course is taught and in the second year most of the elective courses are taught. Counselling for the entrance exam will be conducted at the university level via online. Faculty and students ratio is perfect for this course.

The highest and lowest CTC move around Rs 5 and 3 lacs. 70% students get placement as per their skill. TCS, Musigma, Google, RBS, Zoho etc visit the campus for placement. There exists a sound relationship between the companies and the institute.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Scholarships depend on departments of the college. If one student gets more marks, he or she will get a seat for aided. These aided seats cost around Rs 5,000 per year. Students can do self financing or apply for educational loan to decrease their program fee.

The campus gallery is filled with festivals and colors. All the students wait for the annual festival of the institute. Besides, they participate in different college programmes. Purified water facilities and healthy food make the canteen popular.

Admission in this college is though but worth it . Dissection in the city of biriyani oh my god. I got here through NEET. After my twelfth I prepared continuously for 2 long years. After qualifying the NEET paper we had been called for counselling.

GOOD PLACEMENT RECORD

Admission:

I got 1150 out of 1200 in my 12th grade. 199 out of my cut off mark 200 for merit.Application for Engineering and Medical Counseling. Selected in both. But I prefer M.B.B.S than aeronautical engineering. I went to counseling in Chennai and then chose Coimbatore Medical College and Hospital in Tamil Nadu.

Not a correspondence but still an independent college life

Admission:

For the enrollment into this college, you need to score good cut off marks as per the Tamil Nadu state board. Then you need to enroll for TNEA counselling process, from where you can choose this campus if your cutoff marks is above the cutoff marks decided by the college management.

I choose DG vaishanvcollege for its strong academic reputation, affordable fees structure and excellent placement support especially in HR and marketing . So i applied LIBA ( Loyola institute of business management and SRM ) other than DG vaishnav college . I got acceptance from DGVC and SRM and i got regected from LIBA . I chose DGVC as it has affordable fees of 4 lakhs in total , also they are giving duel specialisations, also its affilated to university of madras , placement support and location advantage. I got rejection from liba as the cut off was not clear as my percentile was below 80 as the cut of was 85 plus. The admission process was quiet simple for DGVC as the - 1. Eligibility to apply was min 60 % in Bachelor degree 2. TANCET exam was preffed we have to submit the application through online portal of DGVC.
