Remarks

The eligibility of the course is to give an entrance exam (jee main). if you want to take CSE then your rank is around 80k to 90k. Gen ews, sc, st, obc get reservation benefits there is no benefit for open category. No admission process is good.

Course Curriculum Overview

I want to go to the tech field so that's why I have chosen this course, faculties are not very good according to me all the things you have to do yourself but most of the teachers are PhD holders. Our class strength is around 60 students. There are two MST in our college. Exams can be easily passed in this college because there you get lots of time.

Placement Experience

Around 90% of cs/it get placement every year and placements are less for other branches like Ece, Mech. The highest on-campus placement was around 11 LPA and off-campus is around 21 lakh per annum and the average placement of cs/it students is around 5-6 lakh per annum.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are around 1lakh per year and 4lakh for complete b. Tech (excluding hostel fees) there are lots of scholarships for gen ews, obc, sc, st. So there is a benefit for these categories and placement are good in my opinion if you are doing hard work in this college. And this college is afflicted by Panjab university so this gets edge over other colleges.

Campus Life

Campus life is very good and there are many fests which are conducted by the college itself(pussgrc) and there are lots of opportunities in this college. If you are coming to this college you really Enjoy it. Our campus has greenery all around, all the games you can play there for eg cricket, basketball, volleyball, etc, there is shor club for improving students, and there is also tech group in our college. In our college library, all books are available free for students.

MY HONEST REVIEW ABOUT MY COLLEGE LIFE

Placement Experience:

from 6th semester students become eligible for the placements and they should not have any backolgs or reappers in the exam and they should have morethan then 5 cgpa . as i am from the 2nd yeari donot know more aboutm the placement offered made but the average packagr is 3.5 to 4 lakhs per annual and around 70 to 80 percent of students are get selected in placement . and planns after getting the degree is to do higher studies in aerospace designing in the aircrafts.

Why I chose LPU ?

Placement Experience:

Here, the placement drive starts at the beginning of the 5th semester and goes till the end of the 8th semester. Here, all MNC like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Capgemini, and many other companies come to our campus for hiring. In the very last year 2 students got selected with a prestigeous 2.5cr & 1 cr packages.

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester onwards students are eligible for the campus placement. Either they get internship or they get placement offers . Number of companies visited are more than 50. I will give some examples of some best companies like google , microsoft, accenture, virtusa, lenovo , Paypal, shadii. Com , JP morgan and many more other good companies visit to our college. Highest package last year was 52 lakh and the average package was 6 lakhs . More than 70 percent Student are getting placement. My plans after the degree is to get a good job in a good company

Peaceful and green campus of PUSSGRC

Firstly I have applied for Himachal Pradesh Technical Univeristy, Hamirpur, before joining Panjab University Swami Sarvanand Giri regional Centre, Hoshiarpur. I got CSE there, but left because the placement scenario is not as I expected, as it is a new college and still progressing, while UIET, PUSSGRC has a good placement scenario of 70-80% placements and has a good reputation. Admission to this college is on the basis of JEE Main exam and by appling JAC Chandigarh Counselling.
